I'm a retired university professor who is easy going and has a good sense of humor. I read widely (love Sherlock Holmes stories and films) and enjoy traveling. I recently went to Banff and loved it (first time out of the US) and I'll return soon to New England. Short day trips (recently on boats) are also fun and appealing. Music has always been a part of my life, especially classical and soothing spa and yoga. Since retiring, I've dabbled in painting and hope to take up drawing. My gregarious side is free at the gym where I do light workouts several times a week and meeting with friends. I love to canvas thrift stores for light houses and related memorabilia. I do have a quiet, homebody side that loves to read, watch films, and hold hands. And , yes I like to walk and look at the heavens. If zodiacs are important to you my western sign is Gemini and the Chinese is the rooster. My totem animal is the wolf, and I feel blessed that wolves chose me. Religious leanings? I've been influenced my Eastern ideas, especially Taoism, and nature religions. I'd really want to hear (and possibly meet) lesbians from the Philly area.
