I think faith has been both my comfort and my agony.  I struggle with depression and find my peace mostly being alone, though I do seek out people in my life for the sake of my mental health.  I also exercise and go to therapy.  I try to go on dates but have found most guys are looking for what they can get and not what they can give.  This frustrates me so I have decidedly been celibate for a few years now.  Still, I believe in love and I want to be open to finding the right person if it is God’s plan.  I find people are very focused on the outside of a person, and I understand because I can focus on aesthetics often and I do take care of my body and my appearance enough to where people notice and I get compliments.  I do it for myself though and not for other people.  I guess I’m looking for someone who also takes care of themselves, body-mind-spirit, who is independent and wanting a soul connection.
